Le Groupe d'experts intergouvernemental sur l'évolution du climat (GIEC) a ouvert les inscriptions pour les experts souhaitant participer en tant qu'examinateurs experts à deux projets de rapports :
- le deuxième projet de rapport (SOD) du Rapport méthodologique 2027 sur les inventaires des forçages climatiques de courte durée,
- le premier projet de rapport (FOD) de la contribution du Groupe de travail I au Septième Rapport d'évaluation (sciences physiques du changement climatique)
Rapport méthodologique sur les inventaires des forçages climatiques de courte durée
Prévu pour 2027, ce rapport méthodologique sera le premier publié par le GIEC dans le cadre du septième cycle d'évaluation.
Cette phase de révision offre une deuxième opportunité aux experts de contribuer au projet. Tous les commentaires soumis par les experts ou les gouvernements sont pris en compte par les auteurs. Les commentaires, les réponses des auteurs et les projets sont publiés après la finalisation du rapport.
Les experts intéressés peuvent s’inscrire ici. La date limite d’inscription est fixée au 18 octobre 2026. Le deuxième projet de rapport sera disponible pour examen du 31 août au 25 octobre 2026.

Contribution du Groupe de travail I au Septième Rapport d’évaluation (Sciences physiques du climat)
Ce rapport évalue les dernières avancées scientifiques sur les bases physiques du changement climatique, incluant les changements climatiques observés et projetés à grande échelle, les processus et rétroactions climatiques et les informations climatiques régionales.
Cette phase de révision est la première opportunité pour les experts de contribuer. Comme pour le rapport précédent, tous les commentaires sont traités par les auteurs et publiés avec les réponses après finalisation.
Les experts peuvent s'inscrice ici. Date limite d’inscription : 25 septembre 2026 (examen possible jusqu’au 2 octobre 2026).

IPCC calls for expert reviewers for two reports on Short-lived Climate Forcers & on the WGI Report on the Physical Science of Climate Change
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has opened the registration for experts to serve as Expert Reviewers on two draft reports:
- the Second-Order Draft (SOD) of the 2027 Methodology Report on Inventories for Short-lived Climate Forcers
- the First-Order Draft (FOD) of the Working Group I contribution to the Seventh Assessment Report (physical science of climate change)
Methodology Report on Inventories for Short-lived Climate Forcers
Scheduled for release in 2027, the Methodology Report on Inventories for Short-lived Climate Forcers will be the first methodology report published by the IPCC in the seventh assessment cycle.
This review is the second opportunity for experts to engage with the draft report. All review comments submitted by experts or governments are addressed by the authors. The comments and the author responses, together with the drafts, are published after the report is finalised.
Interested experts can register for participation in the review here. The registration of experts closes on 18 October 2026.
The Second Order Draft of the 2027 Methodology Report on Inventories for Short-lived Climate Forcers will be available for Expert Review from 31 August to 25 October 2026.

The Working Group I contribution to AR7 assesses the latest physical science basis of climate change, including observed and projected large-scale climate changes, climate processes and feedbacks, and regional climate information.
This review is the first opportunity for experts to engage with the draft report. All review comments submitted by experts or governments are addressed by the authors. The comments and the author responses, together with the drafts, are published after the report is finalised.
